Christmas Party Gallery

The first  Lemsford village Christmas Party was in December 2004, when a small group from our social committee met in the October of that year and had an idea of a Christmas party and tree lights in the Village. Over 80 people gathered around the Village Christmas tree at 7-30 on 10th December and enjoyed mulled wine, sang carols  by cornet and witnessed the first ‘official lighting of the tree’ . Then it was off to the Long and Short Arm for a traditional Christmas meal followed by magic tricks from Phil, Poems from Fred and a disco by Tony and Malc. This tradition has carried on since 2004 and grown ever year.
